ABOUT MIKE:

Mike Root has been a full-time professional since 1980, following a tour with the Marine Corps. He is a member of the New Mexico Council of Guides and Outfitters Assosiation. I offer hunts throughout New Mexico, including the Gila (pronounced Hee-la) wilderness area, the largest in the southwest United States. The Gila National Forest totals slightly more than 3.3 million acres, ranging from 4,500 to 11,000 feet in elevation and include six life zones Sonoran desert to Canadian alpine. Few hunters realize that one of the nation's largest national forest and wildreness areas is in southwestern New Mexico, offering the hunter an unequaled variety of Big Game.
